scenery-gfx map!
« on: May 04, 2009, 01:24:35 am »
I recently played a climb map which had been constructed out of polys (duurh) but was covered by one large gfx. The gfx was sexely painted and made the map look sick compared to the regular poly textures of most. The amount of graphical improvement and flexibility in this technique seems awesome! Which lead to be wondering...is this steeze slept on, or is there some impractical aspect I over looked? (Dl time seemed pretty fast too)

Virtual TT maps kick ass!
Yeh, the one I saw was cartoonly drawn, so probably less laggy (simpler).
But Gdm this is sexy.

Some version of soldat should redo all defaults with atleast half decent textures
and replace weapon gfx that arent outdated.
