Is it just me or is Duke Nukem forever looking like the worst possible Duke Nukem game in this lifetime? I mean, they are working on it for 12 years now.. How many technological breakthroughs that relate to video gaming have happened since then? How many times did they start over with a different graphic engine? I just don't see how this game can be anything good.

Out of all the games, why was Duke Nukem taking so long? What were they trying to achieve? Normally games with the similar comedic style are made quick and never always that popular after the first few weeks. Duke Nukem however does have legions of fans (me included). I remember some of the beta footage or the DN engine footage way back in the day when they were showing all the different type of breakthroughs and cool things. I thought that was enough back then. Finish the maps and engine and give it to us already. "Look. We have money to give YOU." Disappointing.

In fact, just as disappointing as when Starcraft: Ghost was cancelled. WTF were they thinking? If Ghost was released years ago - it would still be a hot title today.

Perhaps, we've somehow gotten shifted into a parallel universe and the games were actually released and became big hits in the original universe. Who's responsible for this? Lol
