Greetings, how good to see Soldat had such a flourishing development... This is such a great game indeed. Let me introduce myself, I been playing Soldat at it's early versions, but since then, I haven't touched it until now. After some moments of trying other's mods, I am now putting my hands in making a mod myself.

-=The Chaotic Arsenal=-
The DEV Mod (Currently Frozen)
This is a mod based on Espadon's (Which happens to be our mod here.) artworks on the DA gallery. So far, I had created these weapons:

ERiS Taktisch A3

Weapons Menu

Sprites made by ChaoticEnvoy, with GIMP.
Concept and original artwork courtesy Espadon.

The forum guidelines said that WiPs mods are able to be posted here, seeing I have a download, and a screenshot here. I do believe that this thread belongs to here.

By the way, any comments on them?

Espadon was already making some weapons...
IMO Espadon's work should be done by Espadon.

About those weapons, too much black lines try to make them in another colour, they might look better

Well as far as the guns look I like your style and I think it works good with Espadons weapons.The problem is that I don't think Espadon has made enough weapons to make a soldat mod with so are you planing to make some of your own designs?

It is very true. But I think I will NOT make weapons of my own in this mod... As Espadon told me that he will release more stuff about his DEV project... so I will have to wait for now...

Wow Soviet Martians?
So Mars is the new USSR. Wait are you following Espadon's storyline?

As I see the weapons are nowdays ones based, maybe they should be a bit more futuristic if not upgrade a bit the shapes, shading is great, take a look to those stocks and handles

For now looks good but could be better, keep working

Yep, I was following on Espadon's storyline... but in fact, there's aren't much stuff I can do with it now... Thus I decided to do something else in the time being. I consider the DEV mod now frozen.

Oh sure. I would like to tell.
In my storyline, military technogies are somewhat a little advanced than our present day. Some hi-tech military hardwares today are commonplace within my storyline. (Say like powered infantry suits.) Most weapons are still propelled by conventional means, while there are some prototype weapons, testing out some mass-driver/railgun technologies.
tl:dr, The weapons will be a mix of "upgraded" present-day weapons and prototype hi-tech guns.


As for the gosteks... I think they will be looking like this (Sorry for my bad art skillz.):



Those will be the references for my gosteks.
