Storyline
On 15th October, 2095, The Mars People Union's stakes are failing. The loss of the Red Phobos, the MPU's orbital command center, and constant defeats of the Mars People's Fleet put the MPU into an even more disadvantageous position.
On the 20th October, 2095, the Earth Coalition Spaceborne, launched the Operation America, an all-out invasion on Mars surface. EC marines landed on the Mars surface, and had captured the most of the major cities on Mars surface.
On the 31th October, 2095, the MPU forces gathered around the New Moscow City, and set up a defensive perimeter. The New Moscow City was the capital of the MPU, and was the only city cannot be taken by orbital retrodrops, due to the "Polaris" Defensive System. The MPU forces must defend it at all costs, or else all hope will be lost.

One war, two sides, who shall prevail? You are the one to decide.

Weaponary
Dual M625s

Replacing the dual DEs, IWB M625 is a caseless pistol, a standard sidearm of the EC Marine Corps, in pairs.

PP-01s

Replacing the MP5, PP-01s is a short-range pistol-caliber submachinegun, with high magazine capacity for your spraying needs.

Union Armory AN-60

Replacing the AK-74, AN-60 is a far cry from the infamous AK, still as hard-hitting as the old one.

IWB AR-90

Replacing the AUG, AR-90 is the main offensive weapon of the EC marines. Accurate and deadly.

Saiga 50k

Replacing the SPAS-12, Saiga 50k is a caseless shotgun with astounishingly high ROF, but low magazine capacity.

MDX-05 Prototype Railgun

Replacing Ruger 77, MDX-05 is a ground-breaking weapon that incorporates the "Mass-driver" technology, which is commonly used on MPU warship-grade weapons.

IWB PGLX-005

Replacing the M79. PGLX-005 is the latest development of the IWB, an experimental plasma grenade launcher, effective in dealing with group targets.

IWB SMW-91

Replacing the Barret M82A1, SMW(Squad Marksmanship Weapon)-91 is designed to provide squad-level sniper support for the EC Marine Corps.

IWB GPMG-85

Replacing the M249, GPMG-85 is a general purpose machinegun for squad-level fire support of the EC Marine Corps.

Union Armory PKMD-91

Replacing the minigun, PKMD-91 is a heavy fire-support weapon that uses the "Mass-driver" technology, an accurate weapon with high ROF, yet it has a very long reload and start-up time.

IWB M625

Replacing the SOCOM,  IWB M625 is a caseless pistol, a standard sidearm of the EC Marine Corps, handy in hairy conditions.

Mk5 Bayonet

Replacing the Combat Knife, Mk5 Bayonet's blade is made from Boron-Nitride composite, a strong psuedo-alloy that can cut through even warship armor platings.

TESLA Shockgun

Replacing the chainsaw, TESLA shockgun was intended for anti-riot purposes. However the Union Armory modifed for it for combat due to the recent Terran invasion. A deadly weapon if used correctly.

MRPG-3

Replacing the LAW, MRPG-3 is a multi-shot rocket propelled grenade launcher, can fire 3 rockets at rapid sucession, an effective anti-armor weapon.

Mod plans:
-New Weapons (Of course)
-New Gosteks (Earth Coalition/Mars People Union)
-New Interfaces (Earth Coalition/Mars People Union)
-New Effects
-3 New Maps.
-See if I am to run a server for the mod in the future..
(Inspirational Art: [1][2][3])

2040. 2095. 2057. So many 21st century mods. It's great!
These weapons look nice though. I quite like the style too.

Some of your guns look like the Ghost Recon 1 gun with 6 Grenades. I called it an Octle, but it's an O something or rather.

Sci-fi FTW! However, my mod is the first one to have a theatre of war out of Earth =]

Yeah true. I'm going to make an Alien attack expansion to my mod later on, I'll release the first part first.

My next mod is a fantasy mod with cartoon scenery. And Dinosaurs.

It'll be epic.

I used to play it, before my gaming computer got "confisicated" by my elder brother when he got into the university dormitry. (Well, the comptuer is his, so...)

Edit: That explains why your mod has the feel of World in Conflict.

Epic fail. It's very silly of you to keep trying to credit yourself with this and that. Keep your boasting in your own thread.

Q: Will this thread replace the current one in Partial forum?

I had moved the whole Soldat 2095 section to here, so the "Chaotic Arsenal" thread becomes my assorted stuff.

Anyway, thoughts on this thing?

@Espadon. You're right, I re-read my posts after reading yours, and I thought "I sound like a twat". Sorry ChaoticEnvoy, I'll keep my mod out of this.

On topic: I can make some maps if you want, I love Sci-Fi.

Bump.

After some days of hardwork, the first beta, consists of fully modded weaponry, are released now, enjoy.

Please give me some feedback on the weapon balance as well, as it has not been perfected yet.

So far so good.

You did a great job on the weapons gfx and the only problem I see is that some of the interface weapons don't look very "comfortable" for a human to hold.

I will try to improve the egronomics, but can you point out which weapon(s) have bad egronomics?

By the way, how about the weapon balance?

Operation America

You need to replace one of the Mp3s with the Team America theme now.

the worst weapon as far as ergonomics go is the shot gun.

the weapon balance seems okay I haven't done any extensive  testing as of yet.

And um Espadon What the hell are you talking about  ??? (no offence)

Heh.

Speaking of MP3s, I don't know why the m3u playlists seemed not to work on me.

MattH, it's from the stupid, yet hilarious movie, Team America, probably the most stereotypical movie ever made.

I use this mod when I play online, the weapon are very appealing. Good job.

I know what Team America is (from what I remember its sick in the head).....That's not my point.

My point is WHAT does Team America have to do with this mod?

Because if you read the backstory you'd realize "Operation America" sounds just as cheese as "Team America?"

Just finished some testing with the mod.

So far everything looks awesome only the interface gfx for the steyr looks a bit faint (for lack of a better word).

Your Weapons Gfx on the other hand are THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN only problem is with the minimi if you look closely you can see 2 green backround pixels that must have gotten discolored.

I'll probably give one more update as to what I think when I heve the time to take a closer look at your mod.

Keep up the good work. ;)

I am honored that you enjoyed the mod.

As for the green spots on the minimi, I tried recolouring with pure green (0,0,255) a few times, but they just don't go away... It's quite frustrating.

Anyhow, I will move on to mod the Gosteks for now.... Let's see what I can crack out on those little soldats =]

Hmmm, I just looked at the story line and the weapons, both are epic, you just need a tiny bit of focus on the names ;/
And when are the interfaces to be worked on??? I can't wait to see this mod

It's been a long while.

Sadly, I don't have anything to update for now, as I was quite busy currently. But in a few days, I will be updating this thread with Gosteks and interfaces.
