Just in case that doesn't speak for itself, i would like a command that allows me to change my name. It would prevent me from having to play as SadistAtHeart(1) whenever that team-change-lag-bug thing happens.

Such a thing is not possible without having the Soldat Client updated. And you should just leave the game and rejoin instead of worrying about your points....

I see your point, and at first I was like, "hell yeah, I'm totally backing this idea up!", but on second though, I think it'd be really irritating in the long go. I think people would start stealing names all the time, and it would be annoying not to know who's who. Well, for me at least, 'cause as I enter a game, I keep an eye out for which of my teammates I can count on in a tactical way. If people are constantly changing their names, this is impossible..

I have to vote no.

hmmm... this could help out hackers as once they have been found out hacking on a server, they could change their name... no sorry bad idea

I would like this, even though it could be abused. Soldat should kick/ban by IP address anyways; isn't this in the works?
