Which is why you _never_ join a gather unless you know you'll have 30-45 minutes of un-obstructed free time.

If only you guys did something to find about about how the gathers work. SNA gather has some forum report-the-guys-you-think-suck thingy and #soldat.gather has a working banpoint system. (read: if someone only used it)

That's the reason most vets leave soldat for, more than "becoming something in life" and "finding a life"...But simply the annoyance of NOOBS not newbs, newbs can turn into noobs very fast if they're not guided right, and soon there's gonna be a community full of noobs with hardly any good players to have fun with. That's when there won't even be a community or such a thing as gathers. By then I'll be long gone ;/

I also have just heard of two more gathers:

#gather.universal, and #ko.gather. The second one is a knife only (ko) gather.

These two gathers aren't too active but still cool to check out. :D
