Blow Up - The real Dodgeball!

Hi there, I want you to check out the real dodgeballmode ;D

You are on a dodgeballlike map which is surrounded by deadly polygons. You have mostly infinite jets and 5 nades which will restore themselves after a short time, but they dont hurt anyone, BUT they blow your enemys away! >:( The aim is to kill all your enemys to get a point for your team, the gamemode is ctf and survival, so better learn dodging!

I'm trin to fix it, but didn't get it...

I'm thinking that i get it tomorrow .

-location - Germany|Eschborn
- ctf submode
- max. 8Players
- 20minutes per map
- all weapons are disabeld (without nades)
- actually there 3maps:

ctf_ba_first
ba_Crole
bu_Icecave

Vermi, you need to lower the speed in the ini to increase it ingame. And btw: Scripting should be enabled

Hey, i got it  ;D. But you have to use another port: 23077 :).

I hope you like the finished version. Now we only need more maps :).

Did you change the nade throw distance? Cause I'm certain that on dodge ball some if not all servers have the ability to throw farther than normally. Or is it just me?

I didn't changed, may someone have to tell me how if you think it must be slowlier  :).

Hey -Zombie-, nice to hear that from you :) The maps are dodgeballlike but surrounded with deadly polygons. What is inside is not mattering as long as you can hit your enemies over the distance ;D The maps I made for the gamemode could be an inspiration for you, I will be online as often as I am able to, so ... see you there [pigtail]

To Vermithrax: Lower the speed of the grenade in the weapons.ini to increase the ingamespeed of the nade ;)

EDIT: Did you test it??? 20 is too low imo, use please about 40-50 and test it yourself ;D Please remove also BA_First from the mapslist as you can switch sides by crouching low on the wall while nading behind you :)

Vermithrax it is mirrored proportional, making the speed lower in the ini makes it faster in game, I told you 3 times

Speed could be better if you would work on it a bit more, but everything in this world is able to be done better, so there is no need if you dont think it could be done better :)

Hey Dark, since most of my school assignments are done I decided to make a map for your server. I made it today. It's bright and shiny, like most my maps. I hope the gameplay is alright, edit this map it if you want.

Ok, dark told me that he made 2 new maps, so i gonna upload in half an houre all maps...

I made one on my own again, its simple but i think pretty cool now :)

There are beam poly's so you have to use them to get in the gamingfield, jet after the beam or you die...

Soz about the gameplay, I've never played this game mode before. If you could send me an edited picture (preferably a screenshot of the map without scenery) of how it could be improved I will try to fix the map as best as i can.

Zombie, your map just has too much(and too big) obstacles and it's hard to push someone out. But it's awesome anyway :)
