Soldat Update [New URL]

I would like to introduce the community to a website that I have been working on for a few days. I basically want to see what the community's opinion of such a site would be before I commit a lot of time to it.

I Changed the url for the site because I wanted to personally host it so that I could put a small ad on it and eventually a paypal donation link for some minor help. Please change your bookmarks. Thanks for all of your support

Soldat Update will be a one stop shop for most things soldat. It is a blog so you can rss feed it and never even have to stop by.

I plan on including:

-Soldat News / Gossip
-Only the best Mods, Maps, Interfaces, and Applications
-Interviews with important figures in soldat (MM, Mods, Tournament Winners)
-Unbiased Gameplay and Weapon Tutorials for those that need help (These will be well researched by    interviewing some of the best players at SCTFL and Gather level)
-Polls about the most steamy soldat topics

My main goal with this blog is to help newer players get to a higher level of playing faster. Most people dont even know what gathering is or what SCTFL is. I think this is a shame because it would be so much more fun to play with even more players involved in gathers and tournaments.

As long as it stays simpler and cleaner than our current forums it might help for amateurs, as imho the forums are a bit too big and complicated for newer players.

As long as you keep it up to date and post interesting stuff, it'll be great and it will prosper for sure. I'd like to see some interviews, and not just with sctfl winners ;p.

I got some of the best and got an eye for good ones if you need any. Have many of them bookmarked for trick shots etc... as well

Yeah. I plan on putting some videos up but are there a lot on sites like youtube so that visitors can just stream them? Thanks for the positive comments.

Yea but some people get annoyed quickly when having to dig through links to see something. But it's your site man. And the Paypal option seems like a good idea, keep it up.
