Why NO North America servers at night?

Why isnt there any more night games taking place in North America.. I remember always seeing u13 etc and now I cant even find one late night/early am  North American public server. Hell.. I dont even see north american pubs at any time anymore.

Soldat isn't just public servers, there is the snag (north american gather) which is basically a pick up game of soldat for experienced players tired of public servers. im sure there are more hardcore players playing at the times you do.

There's barely ever any sna.gathers taking place at like 1am or so; but there are still quite a few public servers up at 1am and 2am (u13 Chicago pub) and others.  Mostly around like 100 players.

But there is never a Canadian server up.

I been around.. I know whats out there. Just dont see any NA servers in lobby ever. I been away from the gather/clan scene for a bit now.

i think north america tends to sleep at night.. maybe it'll pick up a little bit when the kids get out of school  =P

and yeah, with all the scripted and sub-gamemode servers, it's often hard to find a decent pub even during daytime, let alone at night :\

But there is never a Canadian server up. 

That's something I want to remedy in the next few months. Depending on my situation with work and final year of study, I want to see if I can get a 10 - 16 slot dedicated server running in Calgary. I've been looking at the costs and for a place where I could host it. I can host it from home, but depending on Internet speeds and usage, may need a second connection. This would help western Canadian players and also US players living nearby. Wish me luck.

If I can manage to get 2 servers running, I want one to host the Metal Slug mod, if that is possible (at this time, I still know nothing about hosting a mod). I know that everyone who plays, needs to have a copy. I downloaded the mod a few weeks ago and have been having an absolute blast playing offline. I however fail to remember who made the mod, but got it from a link in an SF post.

I've noticed this as well, and this is the time when I usually play, it picks up on the weekends it seems though

I havn't seen any statistics, but I think there are fewer people, and I think it's because of the ''bugs''.
Wich will be fixed, so maybe there will be more servers in some time.

Gameover, check out fracs pub. Its usually got alot of people in it, till about 2 or 3 am est. Sometimes it emptys sooner, sometimes its full for alot longer.

What version are you using? I've seen a few 1.4.2 NA servers, but 1.5 is simply better

I have been wondering the same. Back in 1.2-1.3 you could just go to U13 or a euro server, and there were people playing, from about every country. Now, as scripted gamemodes, climbing etc. have eaten their share, it is practically impossible to play a decent CTF or DM match during the night, I find this a real pity.
