Xbox USB wireless router
« on: June 05, 2009, 10:35:34 pm »
I have one of these:

It doesn't want to communitcate with my computer at all, whenever I plug it in nothing happens

I've tried
 -restarting
-pressing and holding the little button (IIRC, it turns the device on and off)
 -using different USB ports
 -viewing the troubleshooting guide
-plugging it into another computer, still the same thing

I may have dropped it once in the past, but microsoft can't be that shitty can they >.>

Did you install drivers for it? :p
I've connected it with simple wire which I use for lan.

What I meant in xBox there's LAN socket. You can simply connect computer with xbox using LAN cable.

It wouldn't surprise me of MS designed this thing deliberately to only work with xbox consoles, not PC's even though it uses a normal usb port.

Your best bet would be to google your issue.

You didn't bother to read the manual. The button isn't a power switch. It's there to synchronize with the wirelesss controller. You press it and then press the button on the controller (on the top near the cable port) to get the PC to recognize the 360 controller.

I have one of these, and it works perfectly. If you still have problems (and have installed the driver, something you may have missed as well), just PM me.
