Alt-F4 freeze

I've discovered that if you try to quit the game with alt-f4 while the weapon select menu is open, the game will attempt to return to the main menu, and then freeze. (repeatable bug, tested in Soldat 1.5.0.1)

Hm. Well, for posterity, my specs are:

Windows XP, SP3, all drivers most recent
2ghz CPU, 1gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Soldat 1.5.0.1, not a fresh install (ie., patched from older versions), running a mod
Deathmatch in DesertWind against one bot

Upon dying, the game half-way gets to the menu and freezes if I hit alt-F4 without choosing a weapon to spawn with. Alt-F4-ing before the menu opens is fine, as is doing it after I've chosen a weapon.

Is it full screen?
It can sometimes process alt+f4 commands slower than in not full screen mode, test that.
Also, which processor is it, 2ghz doesnt say too much about it?

Be sure to watch the processor usage, and how much does soldat take of the processes percentage.

It also might be connected to the lag that is being created when opening a tab in the game, like the weapons, or score tab, but that happened to me only in multiplayer.
