Although I have XP, I know my friend has a Linux. He had a great pain trying to run games, I don't want that to happen. I vote yes, it makes Linux users' life easier.

It`s impossible to get 50 people online in his IRC channel at one time. How he want do it? If he hasn`t soldat source. It`s mystery for me.

He must know that if soldat will became Linux game it will be very popular. This is good motivation. Better than getting 50 players here.

I hope that EnEsCe would give the source to Shoozza. And those 50 people are needed that he can see, sP is going to be popular and many people want to get it done.

I voted no. Why? Because you cannot force or demand creators of a FREE game to do something else.

Also, long time no see. My computer crashed, so I got a crap replacement that can't play sound or install DirectX. So no Soldat for me.

I dont want to force them to give the source but this could be a once-in-a-lifetime moment to expand the Soldat community even greater.

You can make the code portable and with SDL. Then somebody could make a port for openpandora, a arm linux gaming handeld.

I heard from Shoozza that he used codeblocks to port Soldat to Linux.

The only reason i run windows is because of soldat and some other steam games...
IF soldat will work fine on linux...im gonna use linux more than windows...
and finaly mayby move to linux forever..
