Two things

1) When a person is banned, be it via battleye, flood kick, /ban or whatever else, have it display the IP address in the console. This is useful for quickly range-banning and also unbanning when multiple people get banned at the same time for whatever reason (for example, if battleye has a cry).
2) Fix the chat flood time text. It's a 5 minute kick, but says 20 minutes. It's not effective to have it as scare mongering anymore either, since it tells you the length of ban when you try to join game.

I agree to you Bloo, in both points. It is nearly incredible to see you banned for 20mins and joining after 5mins then AND it can be sometimes hard for an admin (point 1). Anyway, I guess 1) is easily scriptable ...

Anymore? It was never intended as scare mongering. It is like that because the time '20 minutes' is hardcoded in the Client language file. It can not be changed to 5 minutes to suit the chat flood kick. The only option is to boost the chat flood kick to 20 minutes.

Can someone tell me how the hell you can see the ip of someone without an admin tool like ARSSE. Cause I've never heard of that being possible. In my opinion THAT is what Bloo was talking about. It would be extremely useful to people who just want to mess around in their own server or have problems hosting a dedicated one(Me...)

There are other ways but none as easy as soldat admin programs.

I'm gathering since you have no clue about admining a server, that you also have no clue about why #1 isn't pointless.

I have used admin programs before. I know about them. Usually all the players ips are beside there name in the list of players. I have been subjected to every kind of kick/ban imaginable, done it to people too, so don't talk to me about not knowing about administrating a server. I cant get mine to work and I will get around to that because it has to do with my ports.

Their IP however does stay in the log with the kick\ban information right? However, this idea definitely would save you time with unbanning when for example you got people banned in a row, 2 hackers, and one by mistake, and you wanna bring him back, so you can't use unbanlast and there's too many chatters in the server, this would help in the mentioned situation.

Edit: The arsse's action log Blue. The are where it shows the history of chat\commands\etc?
