My dog's being put to sleep tommorrow.

I am glad one of my doges died a natural death I am sad I wasnt there for her on her last night. I think the reason she died was because I moved away. 

Its ok though, now she sitts in my office and I see her all the time. I reccomend keeping the ashes like I did

Hahaha, I still have the ashes of my grandfather in our closet.  It's been about five years, but we still haven't done anything with him, let alone put him in an urn -- he's taped up in a cardboard box.

I watched my goldfish die... I was screaming, "NUU, Jackson!!!"

And my neighbor/friend's dalmation died from natural causes.  Me and my family were there for his little "funeral."  Pretty sad; my friend cried a bit.

That's not why dogs are put to sleep, (most of the time) but because they can't be cured
My dog never died, because my dad gave him to his friend and for free too

Dude when i was 10 I had a pet goat, it got tetanus and I watched it suffer more then I can imagine for days until it died, I even saw my dad try to tube feed it and heard the screams of it freaking out. Also I had a dog that was barely clinging to life, was hit by a car 3 times, everyday we had to go up to her and shake her to make sure she was still alive... im not being a pussy about it though, its natural for human to outlive their pets.

Lol because everybody knows you are good with animals.  Oh wait, no, they were placed on this earth by god for you to eat.  You are heartless and senseless when it comes to animals, and it's most evident in the video you created of your decaying dog in your yard.

Not everybody thinks like you do.

But this in no way means that I don't agree.  ****, I would have slaughtered and eaten that goat in a heartbeat.

I realized when i was 13 or 14 that animals are going to die beyond my control so I just didn't let it effect me when they did, and with the dog thing, it was my brothers dog not mine, so i really wasn't attached to it much.

Eh, I cried when my frogs died.
Zippy and Bonkers ruled.
Hehe, Bonkers ate so much, we had to buy 10 crickets for him every two days.
I remember when my best friend's cats died. I was sad, but now i could go to his house without an allergy attack.

My cats where put away when we moved into city.... i know how ya feel.... it sucks... big time...

However......They will only die if you forget about them...

My chameleon died not that long ago. I think you should feel lucky you didn't have to watch your pet die. I called probably 20 doctors that night before finally reaching a help hotline at a college because no one specialized in chameleons other than this place. They told me that I had taken care of him properly, but with my breed of animal the moment they show sickness it's far too late to rescue them.

I won't get into details, but I'm sure you loved your pet so just be glad they're not suffering.

aww, that sucks. when my dog had to be put down it was we had to wait 24 hours to see if we really wanted to go through with it, my dad was pissed at that, he wanted her gone as quick as possible. My friends didn't believe me when i told them my dog was gone.


The vets like to do it at the very end of the day, so the other pacients do not see a dog go in and never go out.

I have had alot of pets die over the years, fish, dogs, cats(my 10 year old orange cat just died, they put him to sleep too), hampsters, etc..

You just have to remember the good times and try not to think of how some vets mail the dead animals to medical schools where people disect the dead pets.

oh no a person's death is much worse, the person had a much bigger impact on your life than a dog. A role model and a hero is much harder to let go then a pet.

I wan neglected as a child, yet my dogs depended on my for survival. I think its harder for me to say good-bye to someone who actually cared.

I had to put my dog down too...  She was blind, deaf, had arthirtis, and couldn't digest her food.  She's in a better place...
