I had at first ignored backward songs until my friend peaked my intrest with Britney Spears saying "sleep with me I'm not too young" and weird al saying "Satan eats cheese wiz"

so I took a select few songs which i thought would sound the weirdest such as soldat's trio of songs (bloody soil is best backwards) And it sounds incredibilly creepy especially if there is a message in it, like someone is watching you...

The best song to reverse would be one with no drums at all (bloody soil) because a drum continues to make uncontrollable noise that makes a terrible sound played backwards.

I know most of this krap is extremely old but it is so much fun to do

There's the "famous" site with backmasked songs. I don't really believe it (Stairway to Heaven), it's all about what you think should be heard and what you want to hear. There are quite some songs with backwarded messages in them on purpose though. Quite fun.

all the "indistinguishable" songs are the ones that meant for there to be a message, like "satan eats cheese whiz" and the pink floyd one.

the Yoko Ono one is weird... very very very weird.

I would say I believe that the artists meant for there to be a message in their songs, especially stairway to heaven, it was perfectly designed as a full satanic paragraph.

I don't quite hear some of the hidden messages in those songs, though, unless I read the backwards lyrics. $:-\$

I know a kid who kept singing revolution 9 where he just keeps singing number nine number nine

we told him about the backwards stuff, and he got pretty freaked out by it. the whole time he had been singing "turn me on dead man" backwards

The one in Stairway To Heaven was put there on purpose. Jimmy Page was heavily infuenced by Aleister Crowley's work.

stairway to heaven was very well planned to say the least, im suprised the english language alowed for such a long portion of the song to be logical both ways. and there is nobody who can say the last one is accedental.

There was a hilary duff one about her being a nazi but it is extremely far fetched, that one didnt sound much like 3 of the four words that person thought they where its on ytmnd if you are interested.

There's a Tool track, Intension. When you play it backwards at one point it says "work hard...stay in school...listen to your mother...your father is right..."
It obviously wasn't accidental, but I thought it was pretty funny when I heard it.

you could also just use audacityhttp://audacity.sourceforge.net/..you can clear up sound sound and make the parts clearer and other shit. i use it and its good. and some of those are pretty cool
