Taunts lag?

My taunts lag really bad. It sometimes takes like 3 seconds before a taunt is sent to the server.
Is this some kind of new spam reduction? Is this only happening to me?

It shouldn't be limited to taunts, it seems that whatever you type lags if you're lagging at that point.

Which is uber annoying. Maybe limit it to 2-3 in whatever that duration is because of scripted stuff where you have to use commands over and over.

My ping is like 0, but it takes 3 seconds for taunts to show up. And it's not like that all the time.

probably packet loss

it's just resent after a long period of time if it doesn't arrive or something like that  (the mysteries of the soldat networking protocol)

Is your "taunts.txt" large? If it is try making it smaller because Soldat might take too long to parse it.

I also get lag occasionally takes a few seconds for my taunts or what I type to register.

I only notice this when I have lag spikes or when the screen is black because I am seeker in an HnS server

Maybe those ultimate kick ass scripts + other players + connections are too big bite for your machine.
