does it use foldernames like maps or Maps?

"maps" will work on all systems (windows clients, windows/linux servers) whereas "Maps" works on everything, but is a real huge pain in the ass on Linux dedicated servers.

It uses lowercase names of directories.

YES.

Will heavy compression destroy the map / sceneries? What level do you reccommendd?

Edit: Nice cheap blending method ;D

This looks nice and very useful, but everytime I pick a map from the list it crashes for me.
In case you need my system details:
OS: Windows XP Home SP2
GFX Card: nVidia GeForce 6600 GT 128 MB

EDIT. Works on my other comp, it is almost identical except it has SP1 and 256 MB of VRAM instead (same card otherwise).

This looks very promising, but I couldn't test it for a simple reason: my Soldat folder is not D:\games\soldat ;)
Otherwise nice app... it's useful and the polyview is a neat feature!

The slider on top sets the compression level, it's not for zooming.

The packer doesnt pack textures! If you fix that i love it.

I think it shouldnt be a map'packer' though, because the preview option is just as nice, if not nicer, than the packing function.
good job, nice prog

wtf are you talking about guys?.. it packs textures (yes it does -.-), sceneries and map files, and no, I won't make another crappy subprogram with only one or two functions, i want make multifunction apps like this (maybe not so much multifunction but still it's different than most apps). if viewer won't work on your cpu, use enesce's Map Development Wizard.

I dont know if your working on this anymore,
but would an option to pack multiple maps and there files in one go be hard to implement?

Such as when the whole list of maps pop up, hold ctrl and select all the ones you want.
Thanks
