Some of my scenery is looking crap because soldat isn't anti-aliasing them. I'll look to fix this.

I updated my sig to fit the mod.

you better believe it :D this is a big breath of fresh air than all the common ones alreeady around. im actually getting quite bored of the whole WWII/Modern/Sci-fi types.

Added suggestion to the ranged weapons, maybe some pirate weapons would do too, since there is going to be pirates right?

Boiling oil, excuse me for my fail at english :'( Just kidding, try something for the minigun like an armageddon launcher or something like that. You hold a basket with clusters in it that you drop on a large startup time (maybe from a wall of a castle since the minigun is a supporting weapon and defensive) and you throw 10 cluster grenades to the ground making tons of damage and high bink.

that sounds like an ownage weapon :O but would'nt it be weird if you saw someone running around with a basket on his back? XD


EDIT-
Oh nuts i totally forgot, if we were talking about a supermassive mod, with plenty of alternate weapons, we would need a config program, like Ivahn's mod config. Another problem is, it does'nt support the current soldat's weapon stats files.

Yeah to make this mod perfect, we'll need a weapon chooser program and a script on a dedicated server.

I don't know what an Armageddon weapon is, but it sounds cool.

The secondary weapons are:

-Sword
-Throwing knife
-Pirate musket
-Sling

Primary Weapons:

-Wizard staff (shoots lightning)
-Warhammer of justice (explosive)
-Firesword
-Crossbow
-Repeater Crossbow
-Longbow
-Cannon
-Musket
-Shadowball

Turrets:
-Boiling oil.

Nades:
-Fireballs.

They're not set in stone.

you might to change the firesword to the repeater crossbow, while in replacement for the spas 12, would be a Blunderbuss- its basically a musket with a shortened but much larger barrel, stuffed with iron balls or anything you could find suitable as a projectile.. in a nutshell, a 18th century shotgun

^^^They're not in any order by the way^^^

There's going to be more than the standard 10 primary. I'm thinking like 20, so feel free to give me ideas, I haven't even started the weapons on the interface.

ah :D alright, theres actually alot of pirate weapons in the link i gave ya. currently looking for more types of weapons.

well, for the entire range of 'historical' weapons, i would suggest including weapons from the renaissance, medieval, ancient and Golden Age of Piracy eras.

As for fantasy, im not sure as much since alot of it has got to do with fancy versions of historical weapons and lots of magical spells.

I'm thinking of making one big sort of "main quest" map, and a whole bunch of "side quest" maps.

I don't like magic too much, so don't expect magic to play a huge part. Though flamegod mode will be fun to make into a super spell.

Powerups are perfect:

Cluster nades will be an archer power up, beserker will be a close-combat power up and flamegod will be magic. Vest is just better armour.

That's if I could script.

An armageddon weapon is ... cool, simply download Heretic Mod II and check out the armageddon scroll :)

When you make your map, put somewhere catapults like on ctf_Bomber (he used polygons for it) or some zombiemaps (I guess inf_Wither is a good example). Also you need many burrows and some dragons flying in the air (if you boost up you may stand on them, if you enter the mouth you get boosted like on ctf_Bounce). Add different saws, a firesword is cool, also add a necromancer gauntlet, a runespear and stuff like that :)

Mind you your lucky because there are a lot of people that seem to want to help you and they all have put a lot of work into your mod already and you owe it to them to try to finish and put good work into the mod that they helped you with and not go off and start a new one...

as for this "medieval mod" it looks like a good Idea and a fun project but PLEASE finish your last mod before starting this one....

Mod maps:

There will be one big offline botmap to muck around on, which will be the main focus. There will be some small maps attached for online play, including a map that is between two ships, one a navy ship and the other pirates, where the players must board the otehr ship, steal their flag and then return it to theirs. It's very fun at the moment, and I'm not using a weapons mod! Another map is two castles, with flags in them, there is a trenchy-tunnely-manlety battlefield in between, where the two armies duke it out! Good fun.

This seems to be online like Hide&Seek when I look at the size of the grass, but I guess I have to try it out :P When you give me your scenerypackage I can do another map for you if you say me what kind of map I should do

1) I have already made 4 mods.
2) as I have said in other posts I'm taking the WWI mod very slowly.
3) the "Just for fun" thread is simply that as of yet I'm not even planning to make weapons gfx for those guns.
4) so far I have done ALL of the work on my mods
 wile he on the other hand is already starting to depend on other people to do his work for him.

Mind you I'm not bashing Gnoblar so far I like the work that he does and after talking to him on other things he seems like a good guy

In other words I'm trying to help him.

The point is that this is Gnoblars second mod and the last one took him forever even with

everyone's help but Espadon,Me and you Dairy have all made mods with out
anyone's help after all you dont learn from having people do things for you

All that I want is to help not to bash and I'm thinking that this is getting off topic...
