Low to No gravity!
« on: July 13, 2009, 08:47:17 pm »
In my server me and some other people were experimenting with the gravity.
I changed the gravity to 0.01 and it was so low you could shoot the m79 all the way over a building on the map ctf_ash.
I wanted to see what it would be like with no gravity so i set it to 0!
We were flating around, it was hard to move! i threw a nade and it(just as i thought) went stright and keep going. some people had to use the machine gun to move around! It was so fun in 0 gravity but i had to put it back to my moon gravity(0.02) :( That was so fun, and what was even more fun was nothing landed on ground, so it was hard to use the law.

That script is doing it's job, but not very well. If you use your jetpack, then you should get a damn good boost, but it doesn't give you velocity at all.

Were you one of the people there?

/grav (float) - set gravity
/gravme - control gravity with your up and down keys (default : W and S)
/gravresp (float) - set the amount of response of the keys

Replace (float) with any number, it can even be negative.
Default Gravity is 0.06
Default response is 0.03 - It is changeable

The keys are polled only once per second, so don't expect too much control over the gravity.
