I dunno... try a system restore?

Get a restore point from a week ago, and set it back, that is, if you use XP or later..

Oh, and another thing is, if you have an Antivirus software that is actively protecting your computer, it may be thinking Soldat is a virus, and is blocking it from running. Try checking any anti virus software, I guess...

To be honest, I've never heard of that happening...

Good luck...

Apart from making sure that your system is virus free, run a check to ensure your RAM is still working properly.

i have been USING SOLDAT over WINDOWS7 since last 7 months (i.e. since january) WITHOUT any problems.
so, you cant say that its impossible to run it over W7.

Auto update.
The RC version you have is automatically updating (least i think it is, just like auto updates by default), and it might got updated with something that is making trouble with Soldat.

As for Leo, he used an older version which didnt had problems then obviously.

You may got a virus like sality or something like it....
TRY to download a good AV and scan your computer...after that reinstall it..

Is Data Execution Protection turned on?
It might invalidate the installation.

Im not sure if it exists on Win7, but there were problems with it on Vista.
