Hey, I think everyone goes through a phase where they think about this stuff. Then you move on and become immune to these thoughts, unless you're suicidal and/or have crazy mental disorders.

Edit:

Eh, I'm a pretty carefree/slightly calloused person - as long as you don't get me talking about environmental politics; or politics in general :-X.

I used to dwell on stuff like this a lot though.

Sounds like you need some good music. Music takes my mind off of dwelling on things like this. Guess one could over-do ignoring certain bottom-dweller thoughts. Regardless, music is "good for the soul."

My thinking is that...everything has eventually come from something...and that something has to come from something and that something from something else...till eventually everything had to come from SOMETHING...and "SOMETHING"s don't just exist for goodness sake...me know enough about science that there couldn't simply just BE something...while this doesn't explain the existence of God, I find it ONLY POSSIBLE to believe that something I cannot understand (i.e. something Supernatural) could exist before everything that physically exists around us then something physical just....existed...that just makes NO sense at all. Thus, I believe in God and I've been saved through the death and resurrection of Jesus His Son and through this my life...DOES IN FACT have a point...and Paul says that I can in fact boast in Jesus my Saviour, because He HAS....HE HAS given me a new life and a life of purpose and hope and meaning, because life WAS NOT created to have "no point"...you were made to be valuable and meaningful and to live to serve the greatest being in existence, just as people serve a president, (yes I know...the president is not as powerful as all that, but for the sake of the metaphor just forget about that) I in fact serve the KING and RULER of existence, because there is none greater, none more wise, powerful or worthy.
