The meaning of life in my opinion: Doing something (or somethings) to help others live life better. That's what I've come up with. There's probably counterarguments and gaping holes in my reasoning, but I'm just throwing my opinion out for once.

Here's my advice:

Start seeing the glass as "half full"
Don't get dragged away with pop culture, it will lie to you
Don't try to evaluate the weight of the world's wrongs
Do something productive, or fill your time with something that is good

And most importantly, remember that filling your head with empty pessimistic views will make you go backwards, not forwards. 

these are just some things I've learned, there's still plenty of wisdom to gain, so start seeking it.

No matter your belief, always remember you have only one life (this holds true even for reincarnation - you won't get to live the same life that you had before). Are you going to sit around, contemplate and whine about a meaningless life, or are you going to do something to make this one meaningless life worthwhile for you?

We can only give advice and persuade you, but the choice is always yours. What do you choose?

Whether or not life has a point is determined solely on whether or not you want your life to have a point. Some people want their point in life to be helping others. Some want it to be killing others. Some want it to be getting rich... and some want there to be no point so they can be lazy.

You are who you are. Your life is your life. Our existence cannot have a collective point... because that indicates we're all here for one reason. Were not. Either find your own point in life, or don't. But please don't assume that just 'cause you don't have a point in life, that no one else does, and that our existence is pointless.

Honestly what ON EARTH gives you that idea? When was the last time intricate, beautiful, impossibly complex, fabulous people such as ourselves just existed for no reason...isn't the the dumbest idea you've ever thought of. I dunno, Eye, that's a matter of opinion. I actually agree with MadDog here. The way I see it, the only way we exist is because the several crucial conditions necessary for life and evolution statistically had to occur simultaneously on at LEAST one of the trillions of planets out there. That planet just happened to be this one. If it wasn't, we would be living on some other planet. Anyway, that's kind of off-topic.

If there is a meaning to life we will not find it. So the best way to live your life is to be happy.
I also realised how pointless it was and came to that conclusion. Leave that big question to someone else, because you will never find it and it won't make you happy thinking about it. My friend said: Life is to be wasted in the best way possible.
