Tell us about your day.

Today I woke up early, found out my Xbox live has run out, lurked the internet for 2 hours and then went back to sleep for 4 hours.

Found this laptop yesterday http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4786505&Sku=F12-150009 WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? Pretty sick deal for a laptop with a 9800 GS. Shitty lightning design though. Went to Tigerdirect and they said they'd order it for me if there was any left, however I've become unemployed recently and it's kind of hard getting a job with all the university kids taking up spaces. I could pay for it, but then I'd be really low on money and I hate having under $600 in my bank.

Woke up did a lot of PT, had to walk my friends around to clear certain stations of this post so they can leave. Went and bought a laffy taffy. Boring... I hate not being able to train.

Mind me asking what PT is? Is that like qualifying the Physical test or something?

Also today I found a neat book called The Next 100 Years: A Forecast for the 21st Century. I find it interesting because the author shares the belief that the PRC becoming a world power is bullshit, instead Turkey, Japan and Poland (I thought this was bizarre) would become great powers that rival America. Later half of the book was a little farfetched but still interesting...

Took my listening comprehension exam.

I was driving around wondering why my car makes noise when I drive over speedbumps, then stop and realise half the car has fallen off somewhere and the headlights are dangling along the ground. This will be expensive ^_^

Woke up at like 6:30 only to get yelled at by my annoying dad about mundane things, while I was half a sleep before driving me over to my grandparents at like 7 where I'm writing this message.

I woke up at 10 when my phone rang and my boss said I didn't have to come in today' cause we just had a huge order canceled, which means I can now go sailing at 5 instead. Pretty win. Then I spent a few hours shaping up for the meetup, did some laundry, had a couple of smokes and whatch my all time favorite western, Young Guns 2. Has been a good day so far.

Woke up at around 19:00 and promised myself I'd spend the day programming on a game assignment for my summer course
So I spent the first five hours playing Battlefield Heroes
Found some leftover tortillini
Then watched a couple of Hunter x Hunter episodes
Finally sat down with the assignment for a few hours
Continued playing
Made a cottage cheese sandwich
Went to bed at 10:00

So ya see, a couple days ago, my friend, who flew over from Virginia on the 16th, needed a place to stay for two days. I offered him my place as I've got a couple extra beds and a really hospitable mother. I think he had a really nice two days; at least I know I did. We did things like go to a local lake, watch both Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Castaway (which was really friggin slow and heavy, but still a really great movie). We rode bikes across town to some cool park to meet up with mutual friends of ours, and we hung out with them all day. I got sun-burnt pretty good ):

All in all, "2 thumbs up." He left this morning. Actually about 15 minutes ago. I gotta say this has been the most exciting week of my summer, and probably the week where I've spent the least amount of time on the computer. Correlation? Maybe.
