Looks great, but wait.. no sounds? Intended gfx-skin-only (graphics adjusted to default sounds) or mistake?

the TW map is really default and doesn't look nice at all.
I hate to say this, but it seems like you rushed this one a little bit.
Lol, internets.

It's intentional. I would have added sounds, but Id didn't seem right simply ripping them from other games, so I designed the weapons to fit the default sfx. I might, in furute updates change it.

And the maps is available alone in the maps section for those who want just it.

Edit: And Pie, I'd try the map in game before passing judgement. It actually feels very natural when one is playing, and because I took full advantage of the default scenery and texture no outside scenery was nescessary. It only truly suffers (apparently) from poor overviewability.

Seriosuly the guns look odd.  The map is okay though, but you could use some shading n stuff.  I like the way you placed the background sceneries

But really.. its just weird ;l

No, Steampunk is like... a style of things. Kind of like the art-deco feel of the 50's.

I can't explain things well, someone feel like rephrasing it?

Anyway, the mod really isn't anything special to me...I can't see myself using those guns, or the gostek, or anything, but I guess I'm just picky.

It's better than I could ever make myself, at least. Good work.

Not a bad mod, not bad at all.  I never tried your other mod Wraithlike, but I'm guessing that this one is better.  The weapons look great and have some interesting ideas, like a drill for a chainsaw.  Gosteks and blood look great, especially the blood.  Some weapons don't look as detailed or as well done as others such as the Barrett and the ussocom, it's either too long or too thin and it looks as it only has one color.

I don't why you didn't feel right about it but I don't see anything wrong with ripping sound effects from other games.  It's makes the mod kind of bland and boring with default SFX.  If you're planning on updating this mod in the future, at least make the sounds when the weapons are used different, the reload can stay the same.

And I don't understand why some people don't like tw_Alize because it's default style.

Steampunk - As defined by instructables.com

The ultra technological world born from hackers & maker culture has helped inspire a Jules Verne themed steampunk bazaar full of brass computer accoutrements, leather fly-boy goggles, and ray-guns made from candle holders that should help equip you well enough to fight off an attack from a wayward Eastern Block airship, a corset wearing phantasm from yesteryear, or just your everyday future warriors who refuse to acknowledge that an imaginary life in the past is better than living in the reality of today, or dare I say, the curious gaze of tomorrow.

Love the style! Might be the first mod i'll download this year! Although, the shapes look all abit slanted. But all in all, the shading is tops!
