Hello. Here is a map im finally pretty proud of. Its called nobeausland because of a joke me and some friends had. Anyways....Its a very large ctf. I tried to keep poly count down as much as I could, so it would be server friendly. Its not waypointed, if you feel the need to waypoint it feel free :D. It has a somewhat jungle theme, but also it is varied because there are some tunnels and more dirt, trenchy stuff low :). It has normal amount of jets. The colors tend to fade together but there is a lot of contrast. I used the technique of adding slightly transparent trees behind the regular ones. Anyways all the best and I really hope you guys like it.
EDIT:Ok guys, I released it again, but just with different background. Thanks for your suggestions and stuff it helps.

I like the map, overall, but I dislike the green thing in the center.

That green box... is that really a scenery? Or did you just make the entre map in one sitting and that's the unrefreshed background? If it's scenery, the map doesn't need it. If it's background, the colors should be drastically darkened.

Nice smoke and vegetation effects. Looks like you're following Wraithlike's style ;D

the backround is kinda crapy in my hudle opinion, but map is good

the layout allows for a great game with realistic on. the scenery is also not too bad, like the vines, trees, etc. but, as everyone else has said before, what the f*** is up with that hideous green box?! lol :P
lol siggeh deleted for the 7th time! that's like a new record or something, ain't it?

It definitally looks like an unrefreshed background.

The bottom could use some shading and poly strechting, the brown looks abit plain. Also that bunker at over 45 degrees looks weird. Nice map overall though.

Gameplay - 4/10
I don't think the gameplay will be very good unless played in R/S, needs a decent amount of people to people would get bored looking for people through all of the differant platforms


Eye Candy - 3/10

Doesen't look very nice imo, why is the green box not covering all of the map? and i dont like the big trees for some reason.


Balance - 7/10
Looks pretty balanced.


Layout - 4/10
I don't think the bottom route will be used much at all, people would just get shot down before they reach the top area where the flag is. Also i think the layout may be quite suited for DM or something :)


Overall - 18/40

Map is okay, i don't really like it though.

Hey guys. I read your posts and a lot of people seem to not like the background I chose(me, and everyone else) so I added a new map version, with it the background darker. Bgretydews

I basically was going to have it easy to get across. But I decided, probably there would be a lot of camping going on at some times, so an alternate route would be good. When I played it the bottom also had a trenchwar feel to it, i like that.

@Everyone:I fixed the green box, now the background is stretched. The colors are also much darker.
@Everyone:I dont know that realistic would be good on this, but I tried it and It was actually better suited imo than normal. I dont really know why:) but its good.

Trashed the box? Let's see a new pic., then... and yea, geeky overview really only includes the Objects checkbox. :P Not Points or whatnot.
