Is a burst controller, where you can manually add an amount of bullets you want to fire on one click forbidden?

As I want to make a small app that allows you to burst fire for example an AUG 5 bullets each burst..

        I think so isnt it?

I can, but some people cant and would love to see something like this.. it doesnt configure soldat.exe in any way, all it does is track the time you hold the mouse button and then change to whatever weapon you use..

For example if the weapon is currently shooting 6 bullets a sec (aka 10 out of 60 ticks) it will stop shoot after 0.885 secs so it shoots 5 bullets and then you have to press the button again, altho this probably wont work with the minigun

I think this would be considered as cheating, it's hard to burst.

How so? It simply reduces the effort of holding the button for a second longer...

if it was timed properly, and the delay weren't so big between the intervals (at holding) this could be used to have an almost bink and movement acc free steyr, without the players effort.

This app does not owerwrite soldat in any part of it

Doesn't matter. This app adds inhuman powers to your fingers, giving you an advantage.

Maybe it isn't illegal, but it sure is immoral. And I highly doubt sctfl/tnl/etc would like you using it.

I will check this out. It looks like it uses similar stuff to my Taunt extender that got formatted.

After using it, it doesn't seem too unfair, you wouldn't even know if a person was using it, seeing as I can do this easily without actually trying.

This is my research.  Please read it.

I set bullet count to 20, and used the FN, fired about 16 straight shots. Got no excess spread from mp5. It allows you fire law easier. Just press button(I used c) switch to law, and crouch, then it auto fires it. But you have to do it within the 20 or so clicks. It does give an advantage, but it would take alot of getting used to for it to become an unfair one. It also makes the Barrett auto fire after one press, but you have to press it after per shot. You can press it while m79 is reloading to make it fire as soon as it has reloaded.

Well, all guns are automatic ones (equal to no need to release the left mouse button) other than the deagles, the spas, the ruger and the socom. So this tool is not necessary to shoot sooner with the m79, just hold down the button. Same for the barret
