I'm after some punk/punk rock sorta stuff, like Fifth Hour Hero, The Sainte Catherines, Off With Their Heads, Latterman, American Steel etc.  So gimme band names that fit into this category :)

I'm planning to go on a $100 CD shopping streak, to make up for all the bands i've destroyed by getting their albums for free.  (not really, i'm just sick of all the low quality bullshit on the interwebs)

While I don't know many punk bands, I totally support you buying their CD's. I have a lot of illegal music, but only because I just can't afford to pay for everything I like. I do have an impressive CD collection though. I like my music like that.

It's my own, personal opinion, which has its roots in my own experiences.

Every cool person I know buys their CDs - or even LPs, and every boring geek downloads theirs.

Apart from that, regarding to the Finnish news thingy, warez has become a not in the past year.

I'd recommend Joy Division in any case. I personally have just found them, but they became a part of my top 10, instantly.

Thanks guys, I think i've got a pretty big list of stuff I like now (with a little help from Last.fm :P)

I even discovered some old music from the earlier THPS games soundtrack (thanks Geo :))

Um, out of the < 20% that have access to the internet?

Just to clear it up: I dont really have anything against "free" music. it's just that people who upload it insist on halving the audio quality for no reason, besides punk music is hard to come by on even the largest of torrent sites.

Anyway if you have any more suggestions keep em coming
