Since punk isnt punk anymorem anyways.... i have been enjoying a lot of box car racer, and angels and airwaves.... the music might not seem to "punkish" but the lyrics sure are. and thats what counts.
Genres aren't isolated into what you want them to be. This happens over and over with punk. For some reason people that listen to punk are the most snobby people when it comes to what has the right or not to be called punk.
[and let it be noted that Angels and Airwaves are f**king tossers anyway.]

The whole thing is supposed to be about diversity, and the main crowd is just as musically fascist as the next subculture. The thing is, punk after the 80's in the US is called hardcore, with a gazillion branches, influences, fusions, crossovers, etc.Just read punknews.org or absolutepunk.net to get a good picture of what else is there behind the mainstream shiz.[and let it be noted that Angels and Airwaves are f**king tossers anyway.]
