Animated Scenery Help

I can get the transparent background on .gif images to work. They appear transparent in polyworks, and in the image itself, but when I run soldat the background is solid black. It's very bothersome.
Thanks -Wraithlike.

make sure the gif has 256 colors
this will not 100% help
If gifs are screwed in game the only thing you can do is wait for EnEsCe to update Soldat and fix this...

I've had that same problem.
I really mostly solved it by using a black background to show up as transparent in-game. But it doesn't show up as transparent in polyworks, which could be a problem scenery accuracy-wise.

Pretty newb with gif, but I found that having consistently the same colored background for the gif images worked. Like, if you remove transparency, is the 'non-existent' background all red (er whatever). Of course, it's
still
very touchy.
