Well hi guys

I want us to discuss about the "torrenting" and "ping adventage", OK now don't start with the flame about: WHINECRY,NOOB,ETC ETC; is not about that OK?.

We all know that most of the old players now have kind of the same amount of skills, slightly same aim, or nade skills or w/e, now the question is: How do i stand out, if i have more or less the same skills of everyone?

Well its easy BUT no body talk about it, but we all know it, I'm talking about the torrenting and server-pings adventage.

I want you people to tell me your experiences WITH this type or playing cause YOU KNOW its real problem.

How will you fix it or prevent it?

People lagging gives them an advantage?

You obviously don't know that some people uses techniques to eat, while others... often german players just stands still and eat.

The skilled ones that don't rely on luck will always stand out more than the lucky eaters.

because that's now how it is. with floaty and strange movements you'll lag like a bitch.

Sure some people do use torrents, but the respected clans don't.

Big players have been banned from using aimbot, why would they stop on using another kind of adventages?

I have a rule NOT to play online ever when I'm downloading something from the internet.

Honestly for me, seeking advantage over other players by using hacks/lagging and any other non-game thing just ruins the fun. Soldat is at its best when its running smoothly. I could only imagine someone using a hack just for "kicks" aka fun and do things youre not really allowed to/possible to do ingame which is pretty special when you hack.

However, the novelty of hacking will wear off after a couple of fun runs and/or anti-cheat, angry people and votekicks fortunately can cut a hacker short on his fun to force him play fairly.

As for big players using aimbots, in competitions especially, thats just them wanting to win no matter what. Hacks are like doping in this case. They boost you, but they can also disqualify you.

what is it... less than 100 people are banned from sctfl, and not all for hacking. and considering there's about 100 clans participating... it's not that ussual.

only a few big players hack, but they aren't big players after they get caught.

This is just whine because you don't know how to play well yet.

...flame has started, ok since u cant read: lets suppoust i SUCK and i dont know how to play agains it i will be saying stuff like: zomg hax,my nades dont reg,my bullets dont reg ITS bs hax!.

witch is not the case, i just want we to discus about this problem cause it´ve been growing, also i want to know if people have experience any kind of problems like this.

Set real low ping limits? Have active admins watch the games? Make no exceptions? (Although the latest is kinda harsh)

No. Because while the high pinger eats all of your shots, everything they do gets ate as well.

Eating is a skill, if 2 equally skilled players duels out, and one of them lose because they other one ate a whole bunch, it might just be that the eating one is more skilled. not saying all eats are skills, but with skills you eat more.

I just imagined two soldiers behind a table with 2 bowls of bullets and they are duking it out who can eat more before passing out. x )

When you lag you see others lagging too. You'll have advantage only if you know how to shoot a lagger(like i did when i played zombie server with 200 ping) and your enemy doesn't.

Maybe some FF members would do that, but in general big namers doesn't do it.
