Special info:
It's allowed to select any gamemode that Soldat provides. The map has to use at least one animation gif scenery. Of course it's strongly preferable that you use multiple gif scenery. The best theme wins!

Since it's according to theme: it was definitely between Carnival and Pirate Cove, but Pirate Cove has that extra pleasing-to-the-eye feel, so I voted for it.

Cog n' Wheel was great but frankly too simple; Hurricane was cool, but felt a little unfinished. If design were a bigger deal with this gif. contest, I'd vote Carnival.
"Have you been to the carnival, I would like to see you..."

Needless to say, all of the maps were fun.

For signatures, you are allowed only one image in your signature which may not be wider and taller than 300 and 125 pixels, and may not be over 20kB in file size. No BMPs are allowed.

I voted for Hurricane. When I tested it, and died running into the spinning propeller, I knew I was in love. <3

Usefulness wise though, the bird scenery from PirateCove is impossible to match. Absolutely fantastic.

Even though PirateCove is gonna win this one easy, I'm very satisfied with teh results of this. Despite the challenging theme and small number of entries. I believe that in a few months, when .gif's become more of a staple, this contest theme will deserve a re-hash.

P.S., I liked carnival; original and fun, but PirateCove's broken ship was just too hard to resist.

Piratcove because I felt like a pirate. the others are also good so hard to pick
Water looked a bit flat, but the birds were more realistic then in Hurricane.
Love the propells though
