FX Smoke scenery pack
« on: September 12, 2009, 06:55:37 am »
Description: 15 HQ smoke/fog/clouds sceneries. I found various usual amb_cloud and such not satisfying anymore so i decided to make my own. All images are optimized 512*512 pngs. Also download includes scenerylist for PW.

Download: mirror1 1 Mb

On example image ALL the clouds and the smoke from the chimney and from the crater altogether consist only of 6 sceneries.

Yeah, good. The ''list'' is just for an overview right?
You are THE best contributor to soldat art.  I wonder if you have time to eat, I rarely download stuff, but you got me downloading so much stuff  :P

how are these sceneries fps wise compared to fx_* and amb_* ?

No idea... However they help to lower amount of scenery used. For Example that crater smoke uses only one scenery instead of 5 with amb_cloud as before.

The smoke and clouds are a lot better than the fx_p clouds fps-wise.

There's something about the fx_p clouds that makes it so laggy and in large numbers basically makes a map unplayable.
