At 1PM today, I will have been smoke-free for 1 week. I was really surprised at how much my breath has lengthened. I knew smoking caused shortness of breath, but not that significantly.
And yeah, you'll probably start noticing the pros of being a non-smoker.

And for the record, a dentist'll tell you (right 'after' pulling your f**king teeth out, usually) to stop smoking for a week because...the newly exposed gums can be at risk of infection, and your gums heavily require your thick juicy blood to do its healing magic on those holes in your mouth and to congeal up and what not. Smoking thins your blood, particularly in the exposed gums, risking infection.
