Ooh, Okami! That was an awesome game I never finished. Come to think of it, I never finished Shadow of the Colossus either. Hmm. I can attribute both of these to my PS3 purchase back in May. Maybe I should hook up my PS2 for some previous generation lovin'.

Great game, watched just the intro though.
Goddam ps2x and single core processor.
The intro was being watched since midnight to 5:40am. Om fucking serious. Almost 6 hours lagging like hell, but still awesome enough to watch it.
I might recheck if i still have the image on my computer to play it.

ive played doom1/2 when i was a kid. and i just removed doom3 because it just doesn't feel like doom anymore and got tired of it..
also, i prefer to play somewhat newer games that my pc can handle,don't need to be oldskool.

anyone know if Armed Assault (ArmA) is any good? and if it's free?
and wich is best? ARMA or Operation Flashpoint?

Right, ARMA, is Operation Flashpoint 2, and ARMA2 is OP 3. Because Code Masters broke away from the original company. No, its not free. ARMA is by far superior.

I Own ArmA and OFP (1 and 2 for both)
If you are looking for combat simulators arma is the best, if you can run ArmA 2 perfect, they are not free but ArmA is not so expensive, and it has bunch of mods well addons, OFP (first one) its great but ArmA improved it, OFP 2 is not a Combat Simulator and well I don't really enjoyed it. Well if you are looking for hours of creating your own missions and playing strong Coop games those are your games.

What i said about doom I was talking of classic ones, Doom 1, 2, plutonia and i don't remember the other one, they are really entretaining

played them all.
same with heretic1&2, hexen,Blood,rise of the triad,Spear of Destiny,Wolfenstein 3D,..

my dad had almost all of those games, thy where the first ones i ever played when i was younger...

downloading the ARMA demo now,just to see if i'd like it or not.

I own Arma 2. When they say realistic combat shooter, they're not kidding. It's as military realistic as it gets. Sometimes it can be fun, sometimes it's a drag to get somewhere. It also has a steep learning curve and if you play online - play with noobs until you get good. A lot of the hardcore players and pros are ex-military types or people who want the most realistic experience, so basically you're expected to communicate properly and not be a stupid-ass.

If you want something fresh, but don't like some of the newer games or your compy can't handle them, if you liked the original Doom series (1 and 2), I would suggest installing Skulltag. It's Doom multiplayer at its best. I myself have always been a hardcore fan of the original Dooms, so being able to play a 32 player match is heaven. Of course, accuracy is somewhat out the window... Doom does not do headshots. None the less to be able to play a good game of online deathmatch in Doom - with modern networking (as opposed to the original networking software in the mid-90's) is definitely a dream. You can also play CTF mode, which is my favorite.

TBDM: Try Deus Ex. Then theres this best single player mod ever existed called "The Nameless Mod" for it.

Then depending how good your comp is, try postal 2, commander keen 1 - 6, hitman, soldier of fortune 1 and 2, half life 1 and 2 and the episodes 1 and 2.
Then theres freelancer if you're into badass space shooter adventures with the most badass dude ever, serious sam series, gta 1 & 2 and wild metal country (free commercial games, I love WMC!)

And dont forget mods. Go to www.moddb.com and see if there are mods for any games you have. Chances are you might end up having even more fun than with the original game.

EDIT: And yeah, I'm playing Cortex Command and modding the shit out of it.

@numgun: wow you make cortex command look epic... I just need a better processor to run it nice; like with all the crazy effects going off, this computer cramps.
