Echoes

(the Echoes screen is bad because the game uses motion blur so much that it only looks good in motion, a screenshot will look doubled or blurry)

This game owned me for hoooooours.... perfect, almost perfect.
I like it much more than GTA4. GTA have nothing revolutional, generally nothing new for gta series.

Far Cry 2 will blow your mind. I swear you. Try it. Nothing can really compare with it in gameplay, atmosphere, storyline, replayability, actors, sfx and gfx (ofc except allmighty Stalker:CoP ^_^).

If you liked singeplayer on this one, try multiplayer. Its twice as fun. Plays much like BF2.

Another thing to check out is the user made maps- some of these maps were specifically made for sniping, hence meaning extremely large maps which can send you look for the enemy for awhile.

I remember Far Cry 2. After escaping some town, I had no objectives and could not go on any missions. Shortly after, I stopped playing. Fun.

wow, that game looked beautiful on my 1080p monitor even though it plays at 1024x768

Echoes - made me think of Geometry Wars. o_O

That style is so familiar.. I won't be surprised if it was made by the same guy who made Vox Populi, Vox Dei(a werewolf thriller)

Canabalt's great, but I like Saut better as far as 1 button platformers go. It's like the exact opposite of Canabalt in terms of music and atmosphere.

I'll post some here too

When the star/sun goes down it gets very dark/cold and the crystal freezes, but when it comes back everything melts and your mech's temp rises so you have to be careful not to overheat
We were fighting this malnourished mech for a bit

And I landed the killing blow with my manpack-ppc (that guys arm also fell off  :'()
If I ever go in a mech I like to use this type.  I think it's the vulture, but one of the variants packs an "I reach out and molest you" amount of missiles on it but that's all its got.
I ended an enemy mech and his missle salvo tried to escape
The revolving purple star comes back to light up our lives.

Mechwarrior Living Legends.  A mod for Crysis, though eventually for Wars.

Right, I remember seeing some screenshots and videos but somehow they didn't look that impressive. I guess they've made a lot of progress.
I wish my comp could run it. :(

56k users, beware! Although you should have avoided this thread altogether by this point anyway. This post contains about 24 images. Some will be linked to save space, but I need to show how awesome this is.

Some of you may know about my enthusiasm for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The gameplay is like... if Gears of War and Tomb Raider had a baby with Assassin's Creed as one of the grandparents and Prince of Persia somewhere in their ancestry. My previous screens were from the single player game, but these are from online matches. From December 24th to the 27th, Naughty Dog had a double cash event. You earned double cash for kills and medals, which also means you leveled up much faster. In spirit of the holidays, one team wore santa hats and the other wore elf-like hats. Alas, due to its coding, everyone had the same character model, so you had 5 Drakes shooting 5 Flynns.

They also had an update which improved the online game significantly. Rematch feature, decreased loading times, tweaked some boosters (basically perks from Call of Duty) for balance, and added clan tag support plus a whole new map (The Fort from Uncharted 1) for free. Awesome.

The wonderful Cinema mode! Cinema mode is where you can watch up to your 20 most recent matches. You can change lighting (ambient or either intensifying/dulling the sunlight) fog, color values, and play around with the camera (including screenshots, which is what I'm presenting here), although I left everything to default when taking these screens. There's also a machinima section for experimentation and you can upload them as well, so these 2 modes are great for you amateur movie director types out there. All kills shown below are mine unless otherwise stated.

The hats from this event might make this look silly and not as serious as it's supposed to be (it's a different experience when you're playing normally and you can select your multiplayer skins), but trust me, it gets intense. I've never yelled at my TV so much. Not always in anger, sometimes it's excitement. :D

The Lost City

Owning a noob in the first 15 seconds of the game.

Boom!

Ice Cave

In your FACE. (This wasn't me)

SPARTAAAAAA

I get shot in the face here, but my buddy on the right kills him shortly after. Plus look at the pretty background. :)

Cavernous area in the lower middle section of the map with the surprisingly pale ambient light of the fire.

The Temple

Wheeeeeee

He thought he could escape by jumping around the statues. He thought wrong. Grabbed the kill in this shot. His body fell limp in the air, which was rather comical.

Basic pic taken from a hole in the ceiling. Note the plants hanging in the close foreground.

To the next tier of the map!

Nothing special here.

Again nothing special, but with camera twist. Oooooh.

Faceplant slide down the stairs + camera twist. (Not me)

The Plaza

Getting up close and personal with a melee kill.

Destroyed a guy with the Spas-12 here while one of my teammates fired the M-32 Hammer from range off-screen to the right. He would have been screwed either way.

Suppressive fire!

In your FACE... 2.0.

Finally, probably the best looking map of them all...

The Fort

Teamwork! This guy thought it was a good idea to go for the Mossberg laying on top of that statue but he ends up getting lead in his body from a FAL to the power of 3.

Underground arena shot.

Laying waste to a guy trying to escape.

This.
Looks.
Amazing.

Foliage and old buildings. Mmm.

There you have it. I still have 3 more maps to show, namely Train Wreck, Village, and Monastery. Those can come later, though. I'll wait for a new page on the thread.
