It would be similar to worms.

12 players x 4 grenades per player x infinite grenade respawns x cluster grenade bonuses x infinite LAW and M79 shots =

This idea and variations of it has been discussed before, and it is not possible. And:

Also, the map would have to be recomiled every time a poly is destroyed. No.

I know. Too time consuming to edit out stuff (which is why the menu stuff is gone, too). :)

^^And I said server owner can select invulnerable polys.

Maps aren't designed to be blown apart. This addition would require all existing maps to be redrawn, using thousands more polygons to achieve the effect in your image to get those kinds of small, smooth round craters on impact. That's just not going to happen.

All this meaningless rep's is sooo stupid because it doesnt really say anythin...just give an real reason such as " this amount of effort needed to implement this wont weigh up to what it gives in return..."
but thinking about it... how if there was sandbags/colliders that could be blown up, or crates(that is colliders also) that could move after an explotion rocked it?? i would look great. I think a 'more dynamic game enviroment' would be much fun.
