PNG in Interface
« on: September 30, 2009, 01:10:46 pm »
Okay, I hate this peice of crap interface maker. You can't make shit, you can't even LOAD THE IMAGES YOU WANT.
How do I load a PNG file for my HEALTH file? It has to be PNG, because I added some glow and changed the opacity for parts. And I have seen images with low opacity.

I made a BMP copy that just had some critical points that corresponded with the PNG for alignment.

You don't load PNGs into interfacemaker. You just load the BMPs that look like your PNGs to make the alignment work and when you open Soldat the PNGs will take priority in loading and so voila you have transparency.

Or you can change the extension of your .png to .bmp and they will load up with transparency in Interface Maker.

OBEY!!!

Yeah I figured that out. Made a few interfaces as tests. Not uploading them. Especially not until I make a good one.
