different grenades

ok, so just about everyone uses grenades all the time. wouldent it be better if there was a wider variety of grenades.
theres only 2 types of grenades the usuall and the cluster, we all know the clusters are almoste usless ( well i thing they are)
i think they should add stick and smoke grenades.

STICK GRENADES: wouldent it be better if you didnt have to predict were to throw a grenade. why not just stick em. ud obviously have to find and pick the like clusters


SMOKE GRENADES:it would be cool if you could throw smoke grenades to confuse opposition. imagine you throw one in a tunnel and u were in the middle of the fight and your opposition walks into it then ud both have to fire at rendom spots to kill eachother or you could sneak out while there stuck in it and they would waste their ammo and you go for the kill or mabye to steal a flag without them knowing.. yes you would have to pick it up first like i said

i think these 2 types of grenades would ad a whole new level to the game ;D ;D

Now I don't know the moderators of Soldat that well, but Soldat likes the simple gunning style without any special attributes. I kind of doubt that this will happen, and smoke can be really useless, because it's 2D, people can see anything around the map except for in realastic.

And I have no idea what you're saying for stick grenades.

with the stick grenades i meant when you throw it it sticks to them and they blow up and the smok i meant well its foggs up a certain are and you can hide in it

Smoke nades: No. It's not the thing for your every day soldat grunt, doesn't fit the run and gun style of soldat, way too tactical...And I think that making the smoke effect would take quite an effort to code, may also lag fps.

Sticky* nades: Aw hell no, last thing we need is more mines, we already got scripts for that, and why should it stick to them? The normal grenades already work on the "boom on impact" basis.

Both of the nade ideas aqe useless, and the only "needed" new nade(flash) is scriptble.

I'd also say no. Mines seem hardly useful as everyone is mostly flying around all the time (expect for TW, which does already have scripted mines on many servers) and smoke is just... nah. Useful it might be, but annoying and unneccessary at the same time.

Flash bangs, would be the only other nade, as Cat said. They are fun, but I get pissed after a while lol.
