Estonia

Small country in Northern-Europe (if you want to be political then Eastern-Europe). It used to be a former Soviet state, but gained independence in 1991.

Good things:
*Free healthcare for the most part, but private is also available for those who want it.
*Wireless internet is available in malls/cafe's/businesses/etc, even in small villages, usually for free.
*Online voting at parlament/EU elections, paying all the bills you can think of online and some other convenient internet services. Really missed some of those when I lived in Ireland.
*High education levels compared to other EU countries.
*We're the most non-religious country in the EU, which IMO, is a good thing. I guess after being ruled by several different nations for 700 years can destroy anyone's belief in higher existance and brings you back to reality.
*Even though there are copyright laws, most ISP's don't really care what and how much you download. No bandwith limits here. I download hundreds of GB's a month and I've never been bothered.

Bad things:
*Too many f-ing lowly educated brainwashed slavic immigrants who, for the most part, were brought here during the Soviet occupation. They complain how we're discriminating them, yet we never hear anything bad from other nationalities that live here. No matter how much they don't like it here, they won't return home either. Most of them still see wet dreams of us being part of Russia and establishing Russian as a second language and thus, they won't learn our language either. And then complain that they can't get decent paying jobs. OH I WONDER WHY.
*Wages are kinda low compared to the prices.
*Courts and laws are a big joke. There are tons of examples, but if you want to murder someone, I suggest you head over here. There's a pretty high chance you can blame it on the victim that he was provoking you and you'll get away with just parole, without really serving any time in an actual prison. Self defence on the other hand can get you locked up for a long time, might as well let the attackers kill you.

All in all though...it's not that bad. I feel as we have it way better than any other ex-soviet country. I know most of my mates will probably stay here, but I'm planning to continue my studies in the UK in about a year or so. Maybe live in the US for a while to see what it's like (no f-ing way I'd go there before I'm 21 though. I couldn't bare the thought that I couldn't buy alcohol again) and then settle down in either Norway or Sweden. Don't exactly know why, but 's something I like about both of them.

Sweden
+ Free Healthcare
+ Social security(you never have to starve live on the street etc)
+ Free Education
+ Very Free country
- Taxed to death(currently paying in the range of 70 % of my salaries) and on top of that its VAT of 25 % on everything you buy + special taxes on stuff like alcohol, gas and much more stuff.
- something in sweden called "jantelagen" which essentially mean you shouldn't strive to become someone and being rich or succesful in business is frown upon, however if you get rich by being good in sports or winning the lottery its totally ok so quite a double standard.
- Cold weather, however I live around the arctic circle so probably have to blame myself for that.

Might I add that America is a republic not a democracy?
..what? the US is a democracy, just with a few twists.
Right, and it's those twists that make it a republic.  AFAIK, a republic is just a representative democracy, which is what we have.

I like America because while it has its flaws, they're pretty much what you'd expect in a nation like it, and the rest is just great.  Governments, especially big ones, are always going to be corrupt, and when you have a country this big with the freedoms that we do, yes, there are going to be a lot of idiots that talk more loudly than everyone else and are consequently the sort of people that America seems to be composed of.

Say what you want about the system, but it's given me a great life with a good education, decent career prospects, and plenty of freedom.  I don't really have anything to complain about.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

Love the U.S. Would fuck it if I could find the hole.

We do have our share of loud idiots who shout at other loud idiots, often missing the fact that they have more in common than not. We are corrupt and greedy at times, but we are ethical and compassionate when we have the opportunity.

And we have a good portion of the world's money, which helps.

Korea:

I love Korea because there are more entertainments and more crowded. I personally like the crowded style for some reason.

The reason why I hate? Too many posers/trend followers, way too many soft musics, and right now, some men believe hand bag is the new "cool" bag. Unfortunately, it rather looks gay.... Holy shit I wanna lynch some of them just for the handbag....

Fuck, I thought this was about Country music.
Which I dislike personally, but meh.

Finland is alright and they have a good government system for the people
and such (not without flaws of course, but I'd say its a great achievement).
The weather and nature here is pretty difficult, but beatiful and has a large effect
on peoples mood from day to day. And by difficult I mean temperatures vary a lot and the amount of sun light changes dramatically between summer and winter.

All in all, its ok minus the niggers and alcoholics.

Diesel isn't used very much over here, mostly just for industrial trucks and certain other things.

Normal gas ranges from $2 - $4. [per gallon]
