More of a naval film than shooting, but Das Boot is great :D

Like how martial arts films are best in Japanese/Chinese with subtitles, Das Boot is best wached with German speach with subtitles.

Whats its face. That German film about Hitler.
Downfall
Not much war, more about Hitler. It was good. I liked it when I watched it in German with subtitles.

Iridescent how could you hate Black hawk down? That movie is possibly one of my favourite movies ever.

I'd recommend...I don't know, I'm not really into movies....

EDIT: O ooo Serenity, you know that movie that's Firefly.

Full Metal Jacket isn't too much of a war movie, but you get to see R. Lee Ermey beat the shit outta recruits and get...well, you'll see.

I think it's one of the best movies ever. And i usually don't like war movies. (most of them are boring and generic.)

Really if you can afford it buy the complete collection of Band of Brother. Its worth every penny.

Ahh, that was great, I had a marathon watching it with my friend.

Okay, here's most of the war movies I've seen, I'll rate them:

Saving Private Ryan (10)

We Were Soldiers (9.5)

Thin Red Line (1)

Frogmen (can't remember whether good or not)

Enemy at the gates (you've already seen it)

Band of Brothers (10)

Behind Enemy Lines (3, not really a war movie)

Windtalkers (8 )

Black Hawk Down (8 )

Platoon (8 )

A bridge too far (2, it's old, maybe I was in a bad mood)

Tigerland (can't remember whether good or not)

Hamburger Hill (8 )

Damn, there's a lot more I can't think of at the moment, I'll post them later if I remember.

Yes, It's one of the worst war movies I've ever seen, crappy zoom in/out effects.

Windtalkers (8 )

If you consider Nicolas Cage a one man army, then Windtalker's a war movie. :)

Yeah, Shaving Ryan's Privates

Now that's a real war if you don't have the proper equipment. :P

Yeah if you ahven't seen Serenty get Firefly then Serenity. Awesome series (stopped due to lack of popularity) and great film. However it isn't really a war film.
