So what's everyone's response to no dedicated servers for MW2?

I'm sure going to enjoy 8 vs 8 servers, paying for DLC's and the game dying out in less then year.

what the f***, are they retarded? Of course a new ***got isn't going to create new server, usually the most experienced users make them/or buy them from a server rental website. ( forgot source lul D: )

AM i the only person who sees some good stuff that they did with it?

The only contra argument was that there wont be any mods and that there wont be any clans, but random servers on which it will be impossible for your friends to join (even if they can add you as friends, similar to BF, and have identical options).
Mostly, they scream bullshit in caps lock, nothing else.

Also, Activision Blizzard-> Battle.net ~ IW.NET.
With that, it cant fail.

Awww...infinity ward and call of duty are bawlshiet. Valve Corporation is better - I didn't played so well on their extremely playable games like: Left 4 Dead, Condition Zero, Half-Life 2 etc.

I'm not paying $40 just for the single player and without the dedicated servers multiplayer is just s**t for me... No mods, no scrims, no clans... I'm either going to wait for it to get cheaper or download a pirated version...

But hey, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is going to have dedicated servers!

I'm getting my new Radeon HD4850 1GB 256-bit DDR3 in tomorrow. Looks like I won't be buying this, just torrenting it for the single player. I've always liked Call of Duty for the single player anyway.

What really disturbs me is the fact that they are trying to force PC gamers to switch to consoles. First they are reliesing the priestige edition for consoles only and now they are implementing a system that is practically just like the one in consoles... Not mentioning the fact that they also raised the price...

I don't really care for the competitive aspect of the game anyways. I have so much more fun going 35-10 on TDM public games or hardcore games.

No dedicated? Lastly all the game companies are not putting something basic for MP, that might ruin the game because MW2 will be aiming for sure to MP

Aww, it looks like a fun game! I may not have kickass computer as you guys do, but for Xbox and PS3, it could be a very fun game, because it doesn't have as much addictive/dedicated servers as PC do.

Think of the other side damn it, console players play Infinity Ward's games too. And no 4yo (especially this guy), f**k off from the "any other consoles than PC sucks."

Console players are the reason IW is gimping the PC version in the first place.  They want the game to be equal on all platforms.  It's total bulls**t, I say.
