so... Guy or Girl???
« on: October 27, 2009, 11:38:34 am »
so, what are them transsexuals (discussing born male ones). are they girl or guy? does that sex change surgery really make them a girl?

This morning talk show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDJXR1wXofA
pic: http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00844/kim-580_844661a.jpg

so ya, this person Kim petras... I saw this vid on youtube from "this morning" where this guy/girl started taking hormones at 12 and then had sex change at 16. looks says girl but.... ya, is it bangable or dateable? vote~ (no voting for transsexuals or any psyciatrists working on this subject)

also :3, post your thoughts~

Not the worst sex change outcome I've seen. Probably fooled a few guys.

To me, someone who's has a sex change is still deep down the original sex they were. Of course, socially I wouldn't treat them with any contempt if they had a sex change, I'd treat them as what they wanted to be.

It's just the same as a 60 year old having plastic surgery to look 30, it doesn't change their age, it just changes the age they look.

For me, there's nothing wrong with it so long as they're honest about it. If they're going into a relationship with someone they have to tell that person the truth otherwise it becomes quite sinister...

"neither".

As with the latin-era Romans, they considered a "neuter" gender for castrated males, which is essentially what the m2f operations do. (with  the addition of plastic, fake hormones, and surgical reshaping)

Plain and simple- I am willing to accept Kim as a girl. Simply because what matters to me most is their personality and nothing else. If she acts and has a overall feeling of a girl, then she is one.

But the main question here to me is that, how would kim go about if she wanted to love someone?

IMO, it's impossible to completely change your gender. At least not with current technologies. Physically transsexuals will still be the same gender as they were born.
Mentally though, they're not limited at all. They can feel and act exactly like a person of opposite gender.

I think it depends which way you look at it. Body or mind. So, "dateable" and "bangable" are a matter of taste.

Whenever there is the word "transexual", I will always stay out of it. I do not want any corrupting relationship.

This thread is suspicious. You posted a picture that most people would think is a girl. BUT since you asked which sex "it" is... Then I voted for a guy.

The person on the pic is Kim Petras (a guy who had a sex change). Question is - do you think he's still a guy or no.

Sex changes are for people who can't see past social constructs. In the video it's obvious, the kid has no idea what biological gender is and what social gender is. Anyone with a black and white view (and that goes for all of you as well) of such a complicated question is obviously not seeing the whole picture... And now he's gone and cut his nuts off. At least it keeps these morons from breeding.

That's the creepiest looking imitation girl I've seen. "She" still totally has man-legs and an Adam's apple. The person just... doesn't look right, and needs more bodily substance because she looks kinda starved (to give a more feminine impression...?)

Edit:

It's still weird, but after watching half the video, I'm somewhat more convinced of.. whatever there is to be convinced of. As said before, it's still rather odd... oh damn, I'm drifting into a British accent again...

Edit2:

Ehhh, seeing the end of the video when they talk about her being some internet star, it gave me the bad heebee-geebees

If I didn't know about the sex change, and there weren't any obvious indicators (like a weird voice, etc.), I'd probably hang out with her.  However, once I found out, there would be that involuntary shudder every time I thought about it.  It has the inherent creepiness of "this person, while still human, has corrupted what they once were."  It's like seeing a dead person, or a robot with human skin.  I'd say the uncanny valley is in full effect here.

Why is anyone referring to him as "her"?
Maybe out of consideration for his feelings? If he wants to be a woman, it would probably hurt his feelings if someone referred to him as to a guy.

Guys. This is a thing of heart. If he/she feels like he or she wants to be guy or girl and reaches a level of sexchange that it´s not obvious you can´t talk like that. Saying it´s disgusting that she had this sexchange just makes it worse for YOU. It is not pervert. It is not pathetic. She found the thing in her life that she wants to be. A girl. Many guys out there die with this thoughts but never change their sex.

I think she was more interessted talking about her music than her past, however, I also think she wants to justify being transsexual.

as far as I know transsexual people are very strong ones, that is the ones who survives. they don't really judge their own sexual genitalia. as that interveiw said, they find themself being born in the wrong body at birth and therefore also suffering with body dysmorphia.

it is more of, not having the right thing. some people even go trough amputations due to body dysmorphia (those people who "feel" some body parts are not theirs). it's not judging your genitalia. lets say your hand was retarded, surgery could fix it, but then you'd just be a lame ass that judge your body, so nobody will accept you for it.

And others "feel" that sex changes don't really change anything.

If you don't like having a penis then this requires a judgment on your genitalia. Just like when if you don't think transgenders are truly the opposite sex.

What do you mean my hand would be retarded? Are you just saying that I am able to judge my hand but not genitalia?

a retarded hand would be a hand that doesn't look like a hand.

Yes but in order to come upon the decision of changing your hand or your genitalia, you must make a judgment.
so... you don't think anyone should have the right to correct the hands retardation if it can be corrected...?

To be all honest it´s you guys being disgusting. Don´t judge a person because of a penis/a vagina.

People will stop judging them once they can stop judging themselves about their own sexual genitalia.

This is all I said.

which means, nothing that isn't normal and you judge it, it shall not be fixed. smart thinking.
why do people bother with medical care? who the hell cares about these rashes, it's just judging your own body.

No, it just mean what I said. I never said anything about not getting sex changes.

transsexuals are the same as black people I guess. if the majority is looking down on you, you look down on yourself, simple psycology.

Yea, they are. They are the same as white people too, just that they don't have their original genitalia is the only difference.

Not necessarily. Plus we all have to make life decisions, you just have to weigh the pros and the cons of each one.

you've changed your original statement like 3 times, that is called trolling. also trying to go around your own statement and talking nonsense.

transsexualism is a disorder, but cannot be cured mentally, therefor sex change is kicked in. they are how they are, it's the same with black people. atleast before they were minority and used by the white people, which puts them in disadvantage. and because of other people looking down and judging them, they judge themseves.

I've never changed my statement, you just keep implying too much from it.

You see, you sound like you are saying black people have a disorder, when they don't.

This does not hold true for all people.

Its quite odd, I'm sure transsexualism didn't arise with the advent of the ability for sex changes. THey lived back then with their original genitalia. I refer you to GSx:

Sex changes are for people who can't see past social constructs. In the video it's obvious, the kid has no idea what biological gender is and what social gender is. Anyone with a black and white view (and that goes for all of you as well) of such a complicated question is obviously not seeing the whole picture... And now he's gone and cut his nuts off. At least it keeps these morons from breeding.

In short... That man is a dude!

this is true for like 99% of the people, if it isn't, you're not mentally right.

well, before they ended up killing themselves (which still obvoiusly happens) or living with their original genitalia, so this part is complicated. however, as far as I know it was attempted to treat with psycology, but it resulted in heavier confisuins and mental instability.

for them being not able to see past social constructs may be true. my moral still tells me to see them as women.

Last time I checked, depending on others approval was a symptom of personality disorders and not healthy.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.

that is a current one, I guess 50 years ago that number was above 50%, which makes most of them quite true.

Wrong. Hermaphrodites usually have either 2 x's or 2 y's. (in addition to 1 of the other) I can't be f**ked to look it up, so go wiki it.

... there are XY girls, there are also XXY girls, XY girls are a diffrent story, they are treated as girls and are medicated to gain female shapes. they are also registrated as a girl, but the fetus is still male to begin with but then started to develop into female instead.

so is that a girl or a boy?
