Can you check if it's still the same error in the event log?

Anyway, it would be cool if I could talk to you guys directly on IRC (/query BE|Sable). Would make things easier.

Where can I do that?

Just enter your name, $able should be there.
If not, write "/query BE|Sable" i the text tab.

Ok, could you guys post a list of programs running (even in the background) while you are playing Soldat?

I have yet to be able to reproduce this on Windows 7 x64.

As I already told Fujifabric via PM:

If you have time you could try turning off almost all programs in autostart (in msconfig tool) and task manager and also uninstalling (not only disabling) your security software for a test.

See if the problem is gone and then turn them on one by one to figure out what is causing it.

This probably is too much effort, but maybe the only way to solve anything right now. :/ I still have no idea what is causing it, nor am I able to reproduce it on Windows 7 x64.

The same applies to your new problem.

ive been having a problem recently as well, randomly a dialog box will pop up saying soldat has to close, then when i restart it i cant get back into the server saying BE client isnt responding.....not sure if this has been addressed yet, but i wanted to let you know.

ive got windows vista if that matters
Your acting like your having a duel and your opponent gets a pistol and you get a spork.
Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.

well i don't know man, but i don't think it's a software related thing...  :-\

my pc has only like 3 weeks, and i just have installed:  soldat, a couple of other games, the antivirus, msn and other programs that doesn't run at startup. The only thing i've done was updating the video drivers and tweaking some stuff from the nvidia panel.

Well, only trying out things will give any answer at all, guessing won't really help... It seems only some people get this problem and I haven't encountered it on 2 fresh Windows 7 x64 systems.

I am 99% sure it is a software-related thing.

well i'll try everything, unistall the antivirus and do the other things you said just to see if the problem goes. It'd be hard to see what causes it becauses it happens randomly.

Anyway i don't think it's just some people, i mean, if 8 people says that have that problem on the forums then there are probably more out there that doesn't post it here... and i think it's important because it seems to happen in x64 systems which people would probably use much more in the future. Most of the times a person wouldn't think it's a BE thing and ignore it too.

EDIT: just found this...

I've downloaded all new versions of java, downloaded the windows vista service pack 2, downloaded all the latest directx drivers, and even set everything back to default on the setup. You're right, but for example it doesn't happen to me and at least two other people I have asked who are on x64 as well.

Besides, from what I have gathered so far from your error logs, this crash is caused in a system dll BE doesn't even use, so that makes it even harder to figure out.

Look at the time stamps, 3 crashes one after the other, i uninstalled AV which stopped my WinAPI hook problem but this makes soldat 100% unplayable and oh i just love listening to the people in gather bitch and moan about me crashing like its all my fault ::)
