I'm sorry if this is noobish, but how does the fav server function work?

It's ok, ask questions...  :)

Basically, you add servers you like to favourites, so you don't have to look for them, or sometimes they don't appear on the lobby for you and you can select it from your favourites.

Choose servers that are good ping and reputable.

People give their opinion of you on the karma scale. It's just for fun. Most choose to smite though.

People just see me and just press smite. I don't suggest you do it.

On topic, Yeah I never really got the favourite server thing.

Ok favorite server thing is great.  Just add the ip and port(and pass if its a private server and press "add to favroites" then when you want to use the favorites.  CLick the ip window and look for the ip you saved, click it and hit the connect button.
