Different ammount of ammo in each mag
« on: November 14, 2009, 07:05:12 pm »
I know this is a fail idea, but I'll lay it anyways.

What if when you are reloading your weapon, not every magazine is full? Let's say there's a 5-15% chance that it will be a few rounds short?

(That excludes M-79, Spas, Ruger)

See. Its not a horrible idea. Maby if you were reloading on the run that the chance increases that you will not reload completely. It would be like real life. Being on the move makes things a little harder. The only problem with such a thing is that if you had to retreat to reload it would slow the game down and one of the greatest things about Soldat is the speed of the game.

Why the hell would you carry a clip without full ammo onto the battlefield?

Yuk. Bad idea. F11. Random chance is not something Soldat needs.

Yeah aa know, but not to the weaps you reload bullet per bullet or have small capacities (M-79, Spas, Ruger).

And for bigger guns like the Minimi and Minigun, face it - it happens to miss a round or 2 in the belt of 50 or 100 bullets.

A small chance to cut off a few rounds?

Bink is not completely random, though. At least with that, you can slightly control it by either firing in bursts or trying not to get hit (depending on whether it's bink or self-bink).

With this, you won't be able to do anything about it, which will ultimately lead to frustration, which is the one thing you definitely don't want in a gamer.

with barret, 1/3 the bullet goes straight, so there's a luck factor.

You can... reload twice if you're really THAT autistic about 1 missing round...
