Opt out of following barrett rounds by clicking
« on: November 23, 2009, 04:17:21 am »
Minor improvement of course, clicking when the screen is following the barrett round will be better than having to stand up (and thus give away your position if you're camping).

Also when you prone during the barrett's fire interval you cannot zoom without first crawling forwards, this is an annoyance.

Well, I'll support any function that disables the need to cancel animations by using another animation. This includes the zoom in Barrett.

lol true, you can sit and change weapon or I guess throw a nade while you're watching your bullet.

What if you need to switch to your sec. right away cause you notice you're taking damage?
1 mouse click is faster, and simpler.

Neither, I'm dumb and elfing.
It's easier to click the mouse, which takes what, 0.5 sec?-Than it is to tap on the nade throw button.

I never was sure why the heck can't I zoom-in sometimes even though barrett is ready to shoot. I'd really like that fixed, as well as the main suggestion about exiting out of bullet-follow mode.

to beable to zoom, you can just tap nade key when bullet is ready, but you cannot get out of the bullet cam without unproning or getting up.

Nade key is different for everyone though and isn't always as accessible. For example, I have nade throw set to middle mouse button, but it's harder to press than other mouse buttons (at least I dont throw nades by accident anymore..).
It would be much easier to just tap the fire key.

^I didn't say we should remove the zoom, I was suggesting a small bug fix that was related to the zoom.
