Chat like in cs.

You know ... You can talking with team mates through soldat without any voice comunicator like in game Counter Strike . YOu just have to push button while you re talking . Have you ever thinking about this solution  ? It may bring us more enjoy with playing :).

As for the suggestion you stated: I am happy with the teamspeak system Soldat has right now. You can talk very easily by just using ALT+
  • where x stands for any button, since you can configurate your taunts by yourself. It´s rather easier to push two buttons than holding a button and talking everytime you need to tell your teammates something.

Well iunno about normal, but in R/s when you're dead that means you can't tell where the enemy is ( aka spyz omg ) so nop

While you're playing on public server I dont think so you will say "hey guys comeon everyon on teamspeka ://servert etc." I  know this option wont be useful in clan , but I've written this sugestion to improve game in publics and gathers :).

Let's use G key for voice comm

G means "Głos" in polish which means "Sound" in english.

And "Głos" in polish is more like "Voice" in english - that's why in CS voice communitaction is set up to "V" key.
Anyway, EnEsCe worked with TeamSpeak integration for a reason, thus I say F11 to this idea.

I dont care abaout this integration . Its all about improve gameplay between players in public and gathers who can join voice comunicator but for what its take a lot of time . It will be much easier if they could comunicate through soldat . As i wrote earlier you wont invite guys who you see first time to your private voice channel .

so whats wrong with "v" ? :> most public players dont even want to use taunts etc... public is just for chilling; do u really want to hear people screaming/kiddie voices flaming etc like cs?

1.Actually yes , its quite funny
2. Depend from server and "gamemode"(gather|public)
3.I havent seen servers with screaming kids yet :)

Useless feature because of the teamspeak plugin...
But if yes than remove the teamspeak plugin or don't even talk about it at all!

in general i hate chatting online with randoms. I dont mind it if im playing with friends using vent/xboxlive, etc.

other than that i dont like listening to toolsheds scream about headshots...

Yep, because, and believe me, there ARE angry kids playing soldat.
I know of an 8 year old guy who calls people stupid heads on CS...

Voice chat seems fun, I wanna hear DarkCrusade's voice... MM.... Yummy.....

How about this, instead of holding a key to chat with voice, you can simply have an option in menu screen "Voice Chat On/Off". If it's "on" then players will simply talk throughout the game without any other keys implemented. If it's "off" players will not be able to voice chat any way possible.

There, simple two choices. I helped because I likes teh idea

Umm, that sounds like the chat-when-you-speak-then-mike-turns-on thing. Just have it under a bindable key like movement keys, and same for enemy position thing. Problem solved, and soldat gets a nice, and very handy new feature :|
