my first gather

so i finally decided to try these so called "gathers".. i dont know who make mirc but it was relaly complicate program to use (2 hours to install about/but + confuigrationg).. i join the channel (soldat?) is empty :| wtF? so i look at forum agin i see this guy (xurich) signature so i go to sna.gather and there i see a lot of many player. omg! it was excitement on theair .then i try to play but idk so i ask around: people mock me enmglish (fuckers). then finally i !add - ..abut nothing happens after some minutes i get pm from someone (kimtes? wtf --_) so it had server info and i join. when i join there were other people luckily so we play ... someone stupid admin keep changing maps or restarting i was REAL anger but i whipped out my barret and waited for them pateitnyl at the bushes.. i ended game got 10 kills (my personal record) - anyways after playing some i was warmed up (took like 20 mins but i was sleepy ) so i think "ok lets playserious now" but everyone left WTF? htis gather shit is fucked up.. and then my mirc was hacked or something because it kept making beep sound so i just closed it; it's what happened today

hmm, I was actually under the impression that you founded SCTFL with xurich, not that he introduced you to it / you found out of it due to him. Guess not. 

My first gather was actually worse, especially since people like you and him kept banning me for leaving 3.5/4'ths through the game.

Back to topic: I found mIRC really easy to use. And my first gather wasn't that bad. I knew from the beginning what to expect from it (I read whole FAQ about it and then decided to play it).

Did you know that going back to gathers after taking a break is harder than joining them in the beginning? Everything is confusing as ****...Even the guide to it makes no sense...

Heh, I see this thread as an opportunity.

My 1st gather was ok, I got pwnd out of it, and it was a real eye opener to how much I had to learn about tacts, and how good I was, pub pwner, gather gutted :S.

ha same i did ok my first gather, i didn't get pwned to bad but it brought to my attention that i have a lot to learn.
