Edit: wait, we can research??

I purposely choose puzzles that cant be researched very easily, but a few of the ones tonight could have been googled unfortunately

yeah...SMEG-MA

Uh, and?

You google them meaning you can google each item and link them. Even with the ones that arent so direct (IE: Answers which aren't reference to history) google/wikipedia still helps get a grasp.

Use your resources!

See "Ground Rules" on page 1, original post
Your acting like your having a duel and your opponent gets a pistol and you get a spork.
Isn't that pretty much what it is? I dunno wtf a spork is, I suppose it's way weaker than the pistol since you compared that to this.

How are you suppose are you suppose to get Thomas Jefferson/Cousteau without wikipedia unless you just happen to be a oceanographer/american historian?

~Ground Rules~
1. We use the honor code around here (no googling, however the vast majority of these cant be solved by a google search)
2. Be quick, this gets heated (Smeg vs Geo hehehe)
3. Have fun

Addendum to the first post

How are you suppose are you suppose to get Thomas Jefferson/Cousteau without wikipedia unless you just happen to be a oceanographer/american historian?

Very true, but those (few) puzzles are a rarity

EDIT: in the future ill steer clear of historical figures, etc. unless they are extremely recognizable (although obvious puzzles defeat the purpose of brainteasers imo)

So...if none of us are allowed to Google for those "rare" ones...we're just meant to wait until a oceanographer/american historian comes along?

Uh..I could only see getting Cousteau because of a rather skewed knowledge base I've picked up.  As for Jefferson, I'll have to look back at the question.

Edit: Meh, don't skimp the good ones just 'cause they can't be googled.  That's what hints are for, after people pull a little hair out.

You know what you should do? Post like half a million questions, then make a leader board something like this:

Smega: X
The Geologist: X
Keldorn (Captain Awesome, AKA The one with the huge cajones): X
Everybody else: X

Oh, well, the game's on hold until T-Bone gets some more puzzles...so LET'S GO TO HEXER.

I'm General Phoenix. Pierce + Evasion ftw.

I'd like to take the time now to point out the fact that Smegma in 1st has like 1100% more answers than me in 5th. Sweet.

EDIT:
I'd also like to take some time now to act like a fag and point out the fact that despite 4th place of Poppin & Lord Frunka being in opposite alphabet order, Me (Captain Awesome, AKA The one with the huge cajones) and Laser Guy ARE in alphabetical order.

Unless of course you have a complex, multi-step process to define which name comes first (Possibly similar to my Optimal-Furniture-Arranging-System, or simply based on the size of the guy's/girl's/hermaphrodite's cajones. In which case Smegma would automatically come last for having them measured in negatives.)

I'm stoned

No, god! Please don't ban me! I'm too pretty!
