Some programmes running in background may be the reason.

This problem had been annoying me for a long time. I switched off virus protection in my anti virus program (bit defender) and i stopped getting this Winapi hook #1.

Battle Eye doesn't like anti virus programs.

My AV's are always running, but I've never had that happen to me, when I started playing online I always had 3 running while I played, nothing with BE.
Does it depend on the AV itself?

I have nod32 and I don't get any BE errors. It depends on AV...

It stopped because BE stopped working actually.

Stopped working? It's been turned off/not paid for.

Get a better AV anyways, Microsoft Security Essentials + Malware Antibytes = Yes. Plus they're free and awesome.
